Tracking Foundations Workshop

Service Description

Tracking is the sport of teaching a dog to follow the track made by a person, specifically following the ground disturbance/crushed vegetation, and indicating on any dropped articles along the track. The Tracking Foundations Workshop will give you the skills to start doing basic tracks with your dogs and build a solid base to progress from. During the workshop dogs will work individually so this is suitable for reactive dogs. This does mean your dog needs to be comfortable resting in vehicles between turns. Setting up multiple tracks throughout the workshop does require some energy, and we are working on longer grass so participants need to be steady on foot. On completion of the workshop you can then sign up to progression sessions which will be held to improve your dogs tracking skills. You will receive more information on what to bring on the day and a pre-workshop video a week before the start date.

Cancellation Policy

If more than 14 days notice is given, I will offer you an option of a refund or to be moved onto another class/workshop date of your choosing, if you choose a refund this will be - 10% admin fee. If less than 14 days notice is given I will only offer a refund (minus admin fee), or to move you to an alternative date if I am able to fill your space. It's advisable for you to also advertise your space to see if you can fill it as with short notice I may not always be able to fill the space.
